ABOUT ME
My passion for photography was ignited at a young age when I witnessed my father capture the beauty of flowers in Cuernavaca, Mexico. Over the years, my photography journey has been filled with diverse subjects, including family portraits, macro, night, events, travel adventures, landscapes, birds, portraits, and school musicals, among others.
An engineer first, with an MBA from UT Austin, I had a desire to make beautiful things, and an incurable drive for perfection. It was my wife who encouraged me to invest in my dream and expand my workshop, so I started NePalo Cabinetmakers.
Some twenty years later, NePalo Cabinetry has a history of quality woodworking in homes throughout the Bay Area region, and I have met wonderful, amazing people through my clients. Fueled by form and function, woodworking gave me a way to combine my engineering skills with my artistic vision. From the intricate aviation models I built as a boy, the artisan guitars Weinstock Guitars I build in my spare time, to the custom cabinets I build today, creating custom woodwork is the outcome of a lifetime of creativity.
Now, I embark on this incredible photographic journey that has taken me from Oaxaca to Iceland, from landscapes to portraits. I truly enjoy every moment I am behind the camera, capturing the moment.
Based in Marin County, California, north of San Francisco.
